High School: A two-year letterwinner and senior captain during her career at Southeast Raleigh High School....Was the team’s MVP along with earning All-Conference honors as a senior....Helped lead team to the Tournament of Jewels title a year ago, earning MVP and All-Tournament accolades in the event....Set a school record with 22 rebounds in a game during her sophomore season....A four-year letterwinner in track, she served as that team’s captain as both a junior and senior....Helped lead Southeast Raleigh to a runner-up finish at the North Carolina state track meet along with both a conference and regional championship....Holds the school record in the 400 hurdles....A solid student as well, she is a member of the National Honor Society and served as president of the school’s National Society of Black Engineers....Won the Prudential Spirit Community Service Award....Ranked in the top six percent of her high school class.
