Valuable member of the Georgia Tech squad who has the versatility to catch, play the infield or play the outfield....Boasts one of the strongest work ethics on the team and is one of the most dedicated players on the squad....Voted by his teammates as the Yellow Jacketsí Most Dedicated Player in 2002....Elected a team captain for the 2003 season....Has seen action in the outfield as well as the infield in his career at Tech.

2002: Reserve who appeared in five games in the outfield and first base....Collected two hits in five at bats (.400) and drove in two runs....Scored two runs....Reached base in four of seven plate appearances (.571 on base percentage)....Did not appear in the postseason.

2001: Once again served utility role....Collected hits against Georgia State and Auburn during April....late addition to 25-man post-season roster seeing duty in two ACC Tournament games....played for Atlanta Crackers of Georgia Stan Musial League during summer posting .400 batting average for league champions.

2000: Valuable reserve who served as Tech's primary bullpen catcher, while also seeing time at second base....Voted the recipient of Tech's Mr. Hustle award....Collected hits against Georgia State (Feb. 16), Virginia (Apr. 16), Georgia Southern (Apr. 19) and Stetson (NCAA Atlanta Regional)....Named to Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll for 1999-2000.

1999: Did not see game action while serving as Tech's main bullpen catcher.

High School: Led team to sub-region and region championships in 1997....Set school records for most home runs in a season (7), most walks in a season (19) and most walks in a career (57)....Lettered four years for Coach Terry Jones at Tattnall High School....Earned Best Offensive Player Award in 1998....Hit .351 with six home runs and 24 RBI in 1998....Also lettered four years in basketball, one year in football and cross country....Set Tattnall county records for most assists in a season and career in basketball....Earned GPTV Academic Athlete of the Week honors....Participated in Governor's Honors Program....Nominated as a Wendy's Heisman candidate.
