2006: Continued to rehab from shoulder injury....assigned to State College of New York-Penn League....made four rehab starts for State College before being reassigned to Class A Palm Beach 7/7.

2005: Did not pitch due to shoulder injury.

2004: Rejoined Class AAA Memphis after stint in Major League camp during Spring Training....placed on the disabled list with soreness in his right shoulder 5/19.

2003: Assigned to Class AA Tennessee....promoted to Class AAA Memphis 7/28....added to 40-man roster by St. Louis Cardinals 10/28....named the No. 7 prospect in the St. Louis farm system by Baseball America.

2002: Assigned to Class A Potomac (Carolina League)....turned in first professional complete game shutout allowing just two hits over seven innings in the opening game of a doubleheader with Myrtle Beach 5/15....named Carolina League Pitcher of Week for 5/9 to 5/15....selected to Carolina League All-Star team for match-up with California League All-Stars June 18 at Wilmington, Delaware....promoted to Class AA New Haven 7/16...named No. 9 prospect in Carolina League by Baseball America.

2001: Second-team pre-season All-America selection by Baseball America and third-team pre-season choice by Collegiate Baseball....led Tech staff with nine victories....notched win in opening day starting assignment 2/9 vs. Lamar....worked seven scoreless innings to gain win 2/18 at Georgia Southern....overall, went 7-1 in first eight starts....drafted in ninth round by St. Louis Cardinals....joined Orleans Cardinals of Cape Cod League in late June posting 2-0 record and 2.20 ERA while allowing just four hits in 16.1 innings over four appearances....signed professional contract 7/11 and assigned to New Jersey of the New York-Penn League.

2000: Handled number two spot in Tech rotation....Turned in his best performances of the season in starts at Florida State and Miami....Shut out the Seminoles for seven innings in Tallahassee on Apr. 22, helping the Yellow Jackets record the first home shutout of FSU since 1994....Allowed just two runs and six hits to Miami on May 7 while striking out a career-high 12, but received a no-decision as the Hurricanes rallied for a 3-2 win in the ninth inning....Allowed seven runs over the first three innings against Clemson in the ACC Tournament semifinals, but then held the Tigers scoreless into the seventh as Tech rallied and won in the ninth, 9-8....Pieced together a string of nine starts from Apr. 1 to May 26 where he posted an undefeated 5-0 record....Allowed six runs in 7.1 innings to Southern California in the NCAA Super Regional to snap his unbeaten streak in his final start of the year....Recorded his only save of the season on Mar. 22 against Eastern Kentucky....Was struck by a line drive at NC State on Apr. 1, knocking him out after just 1.1 innings pitched, but came back and allowed just one earned run over his next three starts (20 IP)....Ranked seventh in the ACC in strikeouts per nine innings (81 K's in 88.1 IP)....spent summer with Wareham Gatemen of Cape Cod League following tryout with Team USA.

1999: Led the staff in appearances (26) and topped the rookie pitchers in innings (47.2) and strikeouts (46)....Gave up 11 runs in his last three appearances, but logged four solid innings with just two earned runs at Georgia on May 12 as Tech came from behind to win....Gave up five runs to Georgia Southern in just 2/3 of an inning on May 8, but had allowed only one in his five appearances prior to that....Led the squad in saves (4), although the most recent came against N.C. State on Mar. 12....Made his only start against Charleston Southern on Mar. 3, in which he yielded his season highs for runs and hits allowed (7 runs, 10 hits, 5 inn.)....Picked up his first career win with 2.2 shutout innings of relief at UCLA on Feb. 5....After yielding four runs to Auburn in his first appearance of the season, he pitched 9.2 consecutive shutout innings over his next five appearances....Had a 3-0 record against non-conference opponents, while going 0-3 in league play with a 9.00 ERA in nine appearances....Two of his losses came to Virginia and Duke without allowing an earned run....ACC Tournament: one appearance vs. N.C. State (2.2 innings, three runs, two hits, three walks).

High School: Rated No. 41 in Baseball America's top 50 prep player in the nation....Earned all-tri state honors by the Chattanooga Times in 1998....Named to Daily Citizen News All-Area team in 1995, 1996 and 1997....Selected honorable mention all-state in 1998....Named to the Chattanooga News Free Press Super Team in 1996-97....Compiled a 7-3 record with a 1.33 ERA and 103 strikeouts in 1997....Went 12-2 with a 1.67 ERA for his summer team, the East Cobb Yankees....Allowed only five earned runs over his last nine games with a 0.38 ERA....Lettered four years for coach Richard Chumley at Northwest Whitfield....Earned Best Pitcher honors at Northwest Whitfield in 1996-97....Fourth-round draft selection by the Milwaukee Brewers in 1998.
