2007: Returned to Class AAA Louisville....Re-assigned to Class AA Chattanooga 7/3.

2006: Assigned to Class AA Chattanooga and posted 9-4 record in 15 outings for the Lookouts....promoted to Class AAA Louisville 6/22....overall, won career-high 13 games on the season.

2005: Promoted to Class AAA Louisville....placed on disabled list with an elbow injury 7/20.

2004: Went 12-7 with a 2.96 ERA in 28 starts at Chattanooga...ranked second in the organization and the Southern League in ERA...tied for the Southern League lead in victories (third in the organization)...was selected to pitch in the Southern League All-Star Game...following the season, pitched for Caracas in the Venezuelan League.

2003: Assigned to Class A Potomac (Carolina League)....promoted to Class AA Chattanooga 7/18....went a combined 11-7 with a 3.36 ERA in 23 starts....ranked second in the organization in both wins and ERA.

2002: Assigned to Class A Dayton (Midwest League)....promoted to Class A Stockton (California League) 5/10....placed on disabled list after suffering ankle injury 6/9....reactivated for 6/27 start.

2001: Tech's number one starter and second-team All-ACC selection....named ACC Pitcher of the Week following 10-inning complete game victory (nine strikeouts, no earned runs) in match-up against Rutgers' ace Bobby Brownlie 3/2....named to the Dean's List for spring semester....also named to ACC Academic Honor Roll for 2000-2001.....signed professional contract following selection in the 4th Round (126 overall) by Cincinnati Reds....assigned to Class A Billings (Pioneer League)....earned first professional win by striking out five batters in two innings of 1-2-3 relief during 6-5 victory at Missoula 7/1....struck out a season-high 10 batters over seven shutout innings 7/25 vs. Missoula....named "Pitcher of the Week" in the Pioneer League for August 20�26 after going 1-0 with 0.90 ERA and allowing just five hits while striking out 13 in 10 innings over two appearances....helped Mustangs to Pioneer League title.

2000: Moved into starting role for sophomore campaign....notched 12 strikeouts in seven innings of work 3/22 vs. Eastern Kentucky....went 7-1 over last 10 starts including post-season victories over Duke (ACC Tournament) and Stetson (NCAA Atlanta Regional)....spent summer with Orleans Cardinals of Cape Cod League....Named to Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll for 1999-2000.

1999: Missed much of pre-season practice and the first two weeks of the year with an inflamed blood vessel in his pitching arm, and later suffered from a case of appendicitis which sidelined him for much of late February and early March....Pitched only twice after May 1 because of elbow tendinitis....Finished the season with the second-best batting average against (.248)....Made his first start against Howard on Mar. 24 (three runs, three innings), and started the middle game of the Florida State series on May 1, allowing five runs and six hits over six innings....Pitched six innings in relief against Clemson on Apr. 25, yielding just three unearned runs and three hits....Picked up his first career save on Apr. 10 at Duke (4 K in 1.2 perfect innings)....Also, allowed a run on three hits to Wake Forest on April 18, while notching his second save....Appeared in seven regular-season ACC games, posting one loss and a 5.40 ERA in 20 innings....Pitched during summer for Lima Locos of the Great Lakes League.

High School: Rated 80th among Baseball America's Top 100 prospects....Selected 1998 Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Ohio....Won the Connie Mack World Series in 1997 and 1998....Named to the Connie Mack all-tournament team in 1997....Earned best pitcher award at Fairfield High School in 1997....Compiled a 14-0 record with a 2.30 ERA for the Midland Redskins in summer 1997....Had a 5-2 record with a 1.82 ERA in 1998....Member of the 1996 and 1997 Baseball all-academic team....Lettered three years for coach Ralph Smith....Also lettered one year in football....selected in fifth round of 1998 draft by Chicago White Sox.
