2010: Released by Texas at end of Spring Training.

2009: Assigned to Class AA Frisco....made two starts for Frisco before being promoted to Class AAA Oklahoma City 4/23.

2008: Returned to Class A Bakersfield to begin first full season of professional baseball....allowed just two runs while striking out four in six innings of work to notch first professional victory 4/27 at High Desert....promoted to Class AAA Oklahoma 7/9....reassigned to Class AA Frisco 7/16.

2007: Named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District III first team as selected by CoSIDA....also named to the 2007 All-ACC Academic Baseball Team....struck out Kelly Johnson and Chipper Jones during an inning of relief against the Atlanta Braves 2/28....turned in longest scoreless outing of career to get win in a five-inning relief effort 3/10 vs. Virginia Tech....worked four shutout innings to gain win in extra-inning contest 4/13 at Virginia....overall, posted an 8-0 record during the regular season, including victory in his only start of the season 3/28 vs. Georgia Southern....tied Brad Rulon for team lead with 29 appearances....selected in 33rd Round (1008th overall) of June Draft by Texas Rangers....signed professional contract 6/12....assigned to Arizona League Rangers to begin pro career....worked two scoreless innings while making professional debut in relief 6/23 vs. AZL Giants....promoted to Class A Bakersfield and made California League debut 7/17....re-assigned to Class A Clinton LumberKings 8/12....worked two scoreless innings in Midwest League debut 8/13 vs. South Bend....placed on bereavement list 8/15....returned to mound 8/30 and struck out three of the six batters he faced in two perfect innings of relief vs. Wisconsin....Member of the 2007 ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2006: Earned first career save by pitching the final three innings and striking out four batters in game one of doubleheader 2/21 vs. East Tennessee State....struck out career-high eight in six innings of work to get win in first collegiate start 4/9 at Virginia Tech.

2005: Sidelined from 2/26 to 3/25 by strained muscle in rib cage area....worked career-long five innings in relief to get win vs. Maryland 4/1....retired all eight batters faced to notch win in relief vs. Florida State 4/16....struck out six of nine batters faced in no-hit relief stint to beat Florida State in ACC Tournament 5/28....Had a solid outing in the NCAA Atlanta Regional, working 3.2 innings vs. South Carolina, allowing two unearned runs and striking out six batters....overall, struck out 12 batters in his final 6.1 innings of season....named to the 2004-2005 Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll.

2004: Recorded first collegiate win in relief working 2.2 scoreless innings and allowing just one hit while striking out three in 13-inning victory over Winthrop 4/20....spent summer pitching for Anchorage Bucs of Alaska Baseball League....named to the 2003-2004 Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll.

2003: Walk-on who did not see game action while red-shirting.

High School: A three-year letter-winner for coach Mike Parker at Marietta High School as a pitcher and outfielder....Second-team all-Cobb County honoree by the Marietta Daily Journal and Atlanta Journal-Constitution after posting an 8-1 record and a 0.98 ERA as a senior in 2002 at Marietta....A four-year member of the honor roll at Marietta who graduated with a 4.03 GPA.

Personal: Jared Langley Hyatt....Born May 15, 1984....Son of Don and Jan Hyatt....Father is a graduate of Georgia Tech (CE 1967) who ran track and cross country for the Yellow Jackets....Younger brother Austin pitched at University of Alabama.
