Prep: Finished a solid prep career by earning first-team Class 6A All-State honors in 2003 from the Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel and the Miami Herald....Helped lead Deerfield Beach to its first Class 6A state title as senior....A two-time finalist for Florida Miss Basketball honors as both a junior and senior....Earned a spot in the L’adidas Roundball Classic along with fellow freshman Stephanie Higgs....Tabbed to compete in the 2003 Florida North-South All-Star game....A preseason All-America selection by Street & Smith’s in 2003....Served as team captain for three years at Deerfield Beach....Nominated for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award after averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds as a junior....Earned first-team all-state and all-county honors....An all-tournament selection at both the South Florida Camp and the adidas Roundball Classic....As a junior, averaged 22 points and eight rebounds while being named the 39th overall pospect on the adidas All-Star Girls Report Top 100 players list....Averaged 22 points and eight rebounds as a sophomore to earn first-team all-county honors....An oustanding student-athlete, held a perfect 4.0 grade point average as a sophomore and junior....A member of the National Honor Society.
