2005: Picked up first two saves of Tech career 3/5 at Duke and 3/12 vs. Wake Forest....earned win vs. NC State 3/20....worked a career-long 5.2 innings vs. Virginia 4/23....got victory with 3.2 inning relief stint in ACC Championship game vs. Virginia 5/29....signed free agent contract with Chicago Cubs 6/14....assigned to Arizona League Cubs to begin professional career....retired first 11 batters faced over first three appearances as a pro....worked out of a one-out bases load jam in the eighth inning to record his first professional save 7/9 vs. AZL Athletics....promoted to Class A Daytona (Florida State League) 8/3....turned in a 1-2-3 inning of relief in Daytona debut 8/5....participated in Cubs' Fall Instructional League program....named to ACC Academic Honor Roll for the fourth time.

2004: Made 19 appearances posting a team-best 1.48 ERA....earned first career win in relief 3/17 vs. Purdue....worked career-long 4.2 scoreless innings in relief to get ACC Tournament victory vs. Florida State 5/28....closed out the final two games of the NCAA Atlanta Regional against Texas Tech....Joined Brewster Whitecaps of Cape Cod League for the summer....picked up a save in his Cape Cod League debut 7/2 vs. Wareham....led Brewster staff with 17 appearances while tying for team lead with three saves....once again named to ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2003: Again worked out of bullpen as sophomore primarily as a short relief specialist....averaged 6.10 strikeouts vs. just 0.87 walks allowed per nine innings of work....pitched as a starter for Anchorage Bucs of Alaska Baseball League during summer....Posted a 1-6 record despite 3.06 ERA in 10 starts....worked total of 47 innings with 56 hits, 16 earned runs, 11 walks and 22 strikeouts....named to ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2002: Made eight appearances out of the bullpen as a freshman, seven of which came after the first of April while earning a spot on Tech's post-season roster....tossed scoreless inning of relief in Super Regional vs. Florida Atlantic 6/7....pitched for Peninsula Pilots of the Coastal Plain League during summer....recorded saves in each of his first three appearances for Peninsula....moved to starting role and notched back-to-back wins including five-hit shutout at Outer Banks 7/6....chosen as Coastal Plain League Pitcher of the Week for July 29-August 4 after working 12 innings and posting 1-0 record with six strikeouts and a 0.00 ERA....overall, posted a 3-0 record and a 2.13 ERA in 55 summer innings....named to ACC Academic Honor Roll.

High School: A three-year letterwinner for coach Danny Redshaw at Lowndes County High School....Named team MVP in 2000 and 2001....Earned all-region and all-area honors in both of those years as well....Helped Lowndes County capture the 2000 Georgia AAAA State Championship while finishing as the state runner-up in 2001....Helped the East Cobb Yankees capture the 2001 Connie Mack World Series Championship as well as the 2000 Southeast Regional Championship....Highly active outside of baseball, participating in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Beta Club, Student Council and the Youth Academic Advisory Board among others....A National Merit Scholar who graduated with honors.
