2002: Pitched just 15 innings over 11 appearances going 0-0 with 5.40 ERA for Central Florida....drafted by Philadelphia Phillies in 27th round (809th pick overall) of June Draft....assigned to Class A Batavia (New York-Penn League) and made professional debut with two innings of scoreless relief 8/4 vs. Auburn.

2001: Posted 6-2 record with 6.99 ERA in 20 appearances (14 starts) at Central Florida.

2000: Began season as mid-week starter....not involved in decision in first collegiate start 2/16 vs. Georgia State....gained first collegiate win while posting career-high five strikeouts and five walks in five inning starting effort 2/22 vs. Jacksonville State....took first collegiate loss in 3.1 inning starting assignment 3/1 vs. Georgia....matched highs for strikeouts and walks in 4.2 inning relief stint 3/21 vs. Eastern Kentucky....worked inning of 1-2-3 relief 5/9 vs. Mercer....transferred to University of Central Florida following season.

1999: Struggled with the adjustment to the college level as a freshman....Notched one strikeout in 1.1 innings of scoreless relief in collegiate debut 1/29 vs. Auburn....roughed up for seven runs along with four hits (one home run) and four walks in 2.1 innings the following afternoon vs. Oklahoma. Fanned three of 11 batters in that effort....started exhibition game vs. Atlanta Braves 3/4 at Lake Buena Vista, Fla....did not pitch again until 4/16 due to elbow tendinitis....played for Wareham of the Cape Cod League and Northern Ohio Baseball (3-0, 2.60 ERA) of the Great Lakes League during summer.
